STEP 1
Use any AI tool to create your website strategy.
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Claude Design all work. Give the AI your business, audience, offer, pages, style, features, and deadline — then ask it to output a Lovable-ready meta-prompt that includes user journeys, copy, layout, database needs, auth, and a launch checklist.
Strategy prompt
Act as an expert product strategist, UX designer, conversion copywriter, and Lovable app architect. I want to build a website for [business]. My audience is [audience]. My offer is [offer]. My goal is [goal]. Create a Lovable-ready meta-prompt that includes page structure, copy, design style, components, Supabase database tables, authentication, protected member area, PDF/video delivery, GitHub setup, and custom domain launch steps.
STEP 2
Paste the meta-prompt into Lovable.
Open Lovable, create a new project, and paste the prompt. Review the first version, then refine section by section instead of asking for full rebuilds.
- Open Lovable and create a new project
- Paste the meta-prompt as your first message
- Review the first build before changing anything
- Refine one section at a time, not the whole page
- Use precise commands like 'keep all existing design, only improve the hero CTA'
- Lock down what you like before iterating further
STEP 3
Turn on Supabase for members.
In Lovable, connect the Supabase integration. Ask Lovable to create authentication with email/password and magic link if available, then add the four core tables below and enable Row Level Security.
profilestable
- id
- full_name
- role
- created_at
membershipstable
- id
- user_id
- plan
- status
- created_at
resourcestable
- id
- title
- type
- file_url
- video_url
- access_level
- created_at
downloadstable
- id
- user_id
- resource_id
- downloaded_at
Lovable prompt
Connect this project to Supabase. Create member signup/login, protected dashboard, profile table, membership status table, resources table for PDFs/videos, downloads tracking, and Row Level Security so users only access approved gated content. Add clear error states and success messages.
STEP 4
Deliver PDFs, videos, templates, and downloads.
Store PDFs in Supabase Storage or use secure external links. Host videos on YouTube unlisted, Vimeo, Bunny, Mux, or any video host. Save URLs in the resources table and render them inside a protected member dashboard with filters.

Lovable prompt
Create a protected member resource library. Members should see cards for PDFs, videos, templates, and checklists. Each card needs title, description, type badge, access level, and button to view/download. Pull content from the Supabase resources table.
STEP 5
Use Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or Claude Design for power edits.
When you outgrow chat-only edits, layer in deeper tools. Lovable builds, GitHub syncs, Claude Code or Gemini reviews, you push changes, Lovable stays updated.
Claude Code
Connect to your GitHub repo, inspect the codebase, fix bugs, refactor components, and add features without leaving the terminal.
Gemini CLI
Analyze large codebases, brainstorm architecture, generate tests, and review files across hundreds of folders.
Claude Design
Pull a stronger visual direction, fresh layouts, UI polish, and complete landing-page sections with a coherent design system.
STEP 6
Connect GitHub.
In Lovable, connect GitHub and create or link a repo. Use it as your backup and collaboration layer. Commit before major changes, branch for experiments, never expose API keys.
Lovable prompt
Prepare this Lovable project for GitHub sync. Ensure environment variables are separated, no secrets are hardcoded, code is organized clearly, and README includes setup, Supabase config, deployment notes, and custom domain steps.
STEP 7
Register domain, set nameservers, add custom domain.
Buy a domain from any registrar. Use the registrar's DNS or switch nameservers to a DNS provider you trust. In Lovable, open project settings → custom domain, add the root and/or www, and follow the DNS records exactly.
- 1Buy a domain from a registrar
- 2Use the registrar's DNS or switch nameservers if desired
- 3In Lovable, open project settings → custom domain
- 4Add the root domain and/or www subdomain
- 5Copy the DNS records Lovable provides — A, CNAME, TXT
- 6Add the records in your DNS provider exactly as shown
- 7Wait for DNS propagation
- 8Verify the domain in Lovable
- 9Set your preferred domain
- 10Confirm SSL is active and the padlock shows in the browser
Do not guess DNS records.
Copy exactly what Lovable gives you. A wrong character means hours of wasted debugging.
